Romain Febvre secures MXGP silver medal in season finale

Romain Febvre secured the silver medal in the 2026 MXGP Motocross World Championship following the season finale in Darwin, Australia. The 34-year-old Kawasaki Racing Team pilot achieved his 11th podium finish of the season at the Darwin circuit.

Febvre, a two-time champion (2015 and 2025), noted the difficulty of the season and the challenge posed by Jeffrey Herlings. Despite not securing any overall race victories during the 2026 campaign, Febvre expressed pride in his third career silver medal.

Following the conclusion of the World Championship, Febvre is preparing to represent Team France at the 2026 Motocross of Nations, which will be held at the Circuit Raymond Demy in Ernée, France.
