Roman citizen found dead near Rome metro station

A 42-year-old Romanian man, identified as a homeless individual, was found dead near a metro station in Rome. The body was discovered by passersby in the garden area of the Torre Spaccata station on Line C, located near the intersection of via Casilina and via di Tor Tre Teste.

Emergency services and Carabinieri arrived at the scene following multiple calls around 12:30 PM. Medical personnel confirmed the man was deceased. The body was transported to Policlinico Tor Vergata for further examination.

Authorities from the Roma Alessandrina station are conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the death. While investigators are currently considering suicide as the primary hypothesis, they have not ruled out other possibilities.
