Roman Čerepkai returns to Slovan Bratislava on four-year deal

Roman Čerepkai has returned to his home club, ŠK Slovan Bratislava, signing a four-year contract. The 24-year-old forward joins the reigning champions following a breakout period with FC Košice, where he established himself as one of the league's most productive players and earned a call-up to the Slovak national team.

Čerepkai's career trajectory shows significant growth since leaving Slovan in 2022 for a minimal fee. After stints with FK Teplice in the Czech Republic and Zlaté Moravce, his move to Košice in January 2025 served as a turning point. Former player Ľubomír Michalík commented positively on the move, noting that Čerepkai is returning as a much more established player than when he originally departed.
