Roman Fress and Armend Xhoxhaj to face off in third bout

Cruiserweight boxers Roman Fress and Armend Xhoxhaj are set to face each other for a third time on November 14 at the SES Boxing Gala in the Messehalle Magdeburg. The bout is billed as a final showdown to resolve their ongoing rivalry.

The two fighters have met twice previously: Xhoxhaj won the first encounter via split decision in April 2022, while their second fight in May ended in a controversial draw. This third match will feature Fress, the WBO number one ranked cruiserweight and Intercontinental champion, against Xhoxhaj, the WBO number eleven ranked fighter and reigning European champion.

Following the previous draw, which involved multiple WBO titles, both fighters are seeking a definitive victory to advance toward potential world championship opportunities. Fress recently transitioned to a new trainer, Georg Bramowski, in preparation for this bout.
