Roman Giertych and Marcin Przydacz engage in social media dispute

A social media dispute has broken out between Roman Giertych, a Member of Parliament for the Civic Coalition (KO), and Marcin Przydacz, head of the Presidential Bureau of International Policy.

The exchange began after Przydacz criticized the actions of ruling politicians, specifically referencing Donald Tusk’s presence near the Presidential Palace and mocking recent political focus on horses at presidential residences. Przydacz defended President Andrzej Duda’s activities, including his recent visit to New York and discussions regarding security and Poland’s role in the G20.

In response to the criticism, Giertych used the Polish proverb, “Don’t kick against a horse,” suggesting the futility of the minister's stance. Przydacz retaliated by referencing Giertych’s political past, including his time as Minister of Education and his previous political affiliations, stating, “Strike the table, and the hooves will respond.” He further accused Giertych of having historically held pro-Russian and anti-EU views.
