Roman Reigns addresses nepotism allegations in WWE

WWE wrestler Roman Reigns has addressed allegations of nepotism regarding his family's long-standing connection to professional wrestling. Speaking on the program ‘Club Shay Shay’, Reigns acknowledged that while being part of the Anoa’i family provides an advantage by opening doors, the responsibility to perform and succeed once inside those doors rests on the individual.

Reigns described wrestling as a family business and expressed a desire to honor his ancestors by maintaining the family's legacy and partnership with the WWE. He noted that while the industry once held a certain mystique, it has become more accessible to outsiders in the modern era through social media and digital tryouts.
