Roman Reigns stars as Akuma in new insurance campaign

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is starring in a new advertising campaign for The General Insurance. The campaign, titled “Give People a Break,” is a partnership with the upcoming Street Fighter film.

Reigns, whose real name is Joe Anoa’i, portrays the legendary character Akuma in the commercials. The advertisements use the character’s formidable reputation to compare the frustrations of managing car insurance to facing a battle in the Street Fighter universe. The campaign aims to promote the idea that obtaining insurance should not be a struggle.

The upcoming Street Fighter movie will also feature fellow WWE star Cody Rhodes in the role of Guile. The partnership between The General and WWE continues, as the insurance company currently serves as the premier sponsor for the wrestling organization.
