Romanchakam to premiere on Netflix on October 1

The romantic comedy Romanchakam, produced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s production house, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 1. The film, which stars Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar, follows a theatrical release on September 3 that received mixed reviews.

Critics and viewers noted issues regarding characterization, writing, and tension. Following the theatrical run, producer Pranay Reddy Vanga made statements regarding the film’s reception, suggesting that its status as a small film contributed to its struggles.

Netflix will stream the film in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. This multi-language release aims to provide pan-Indian reach for the production, which was directed by Venugopal Reddy under the Bhadrakali Pictures banner.
