Romania announces 2026 Bacalaureat registration and exam schedule

The Romanian Ministry of Education set the registration period for the 2026 Bacalaureat to 2‑4 June, with candidates submitting completed documents to their schools. Written exams begin on 29 June, with the Romanian language test on that day, the profile‑specific test on 30 June, and subsequent subjects through early July. Initial results will be posted on 7 July, and final results on 13 July.

For the Evaluare Națională, registration runs 10‑12 June. Classes for eighth‑grade students end on 12 June. Written exams are scheduled for 22 June (Romanian language and literature), 24 June (Mathematics) and 26 June (Mother‑tongue language and literature), with free days on 23 June and 25 June. Initial results appear on 2 July, with a contestation window on 2‑3 July and final results released on 8 July.
