Romania Baccalaureate 2026 autumn exam session underway

The 2026 autumn session of the Baccalaureate exam is currently underway across Romania. Students are participating in various written tests, including mandatory subjects like Mathematics and History, as well as elective subjects such as Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Informatics.

In Dâmbovița, hundreds of graduates have completed their exams, with initial results scheduled for release on August 18. In Dolj, the attendance rate for elective exams was reported at 79.46%, with eight candidates disqualified for attempted fraud.

Following the release of results on August 18, candidates dissatisfied with their grades may submit appeals between August 18 and August 20. Final results, after the resolution of all appeals, are expected to be announced on August 24. Due to extreme summer temperatures, the Ministry of Education is considering potential changes to the exam calendar for future years to ensure better conditions for students and staff.
