Romania Boosts Heritage Sites with Museum Anniversary and Forge Restoration

The Museum of History in Suceava marked the tenth anniversary of its reopening, celebrating the transformation of the former prefecture building into a key cultural landmark for the city and surrounding region.

In Harghita County, the historic Forja Veche in the town of Vlahița is slated for a major restoration funded with more than 9 million lei. The project, overseen by the Regional Development Agency Centre, will rebuild the production hall, reinstall a historic hammer as a permanent exhibit, and convert the site into a multifunctional cultural centre to support local tourism and community activities.
