Romania: Brâncuși-inspired art call and Pângărați heating aid

In Romania, several local initiatives and administrative deadlines have been announced. The organization Save or Cancel, via feeder.ro, has launched an open call for photographers and urban explorers to document street art inspired by the works of Constantin Brâncuși. Participants can submit digital photographs of murals, stickers, or installations that reinterpret Brâncuși’s forms and symbols. Three winners will be selected through public online voting to receive cash prizes and promotion within the editorial project ‘Symbols and forms in public space’. The submission deadline is October 21, 2026.

Separately, the Pângărați municipality has announced the application period for heating and energy assistance for the 2026–2027 season. Eligible residents can submit applications starting October 19, 2026, at the Social Assistance Department. To receive aid starting in November, documents must be submitted by November 20, 2026. The heating support covers the cold season from November 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, while energy supplements may be granted throughout the year based on legal requirements and income limits.
