Romania celebrates World Education Day with regional events

Various educational and community events were held in Romania to mark World Education Day.

In Suceava, students and teachers participated in the fifth edition of the ‘Liturgy of Children’ program. Organized by the Suceava County School Inspectorate in partnership with the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuți, the event took place across 105 churches. The program aimed to celebrate the shared values of school and church, involving thousands of children, parents, teachers, and priests.

In Botoșani, the Palatul Copiilor organized a ceremony to open the new school year. Director Mihaela Epure addressed teachers and parents, emphasizing that education requires dedication, courage, and patience. The event included artistic performances and various exhibitions, such as robotics, applied physics, environmental protection, and painting. Specialized circles, including robotics and 3D printing, were highlighted for their role in preparing students for future academic and professional success.
