Romania conducts MOBEX mobilization exercise in Bucharest and Ilfov

The MOBEX Bucharest–Ilfov 26 mobilization exercise is being organized to verify the replenishment of human and material resources within national defense structures. The exercise involves summoning a portion of reservists residing in Bucharest and Ilfov county to participate in one-day training sequences at designated units.

According to the Ministry of National Defence, reservists are legally obligated to participate in these evaluation exercises. Employers are required to ensure the attendance of salaried reservists by granting one day of additional paid leave based on certification from the military center.

These MOBEX exercises are routine annual events that can involve up to ten counties. They are designed to test how defense and national security structures are supplemented. Authorities have advised citizens to rely on official sources to avoid misinformation regarding these activities.
