Romania faces bomb threats targeting flights

A Russian ultranationalist group has claimed responsibility for a series of bomb threats that disrupted European air traffic, including several flights in Romania. The group, known as "Mujszkoje Goszudarsztvo" (Man's State), sent threatening emails to airports, including those in Italy, warning of imminent explosions.

In Romania, the threats targeted a KLM flight transiting through Bucharest en route to Tel Aviv, as well as a Tarom flight. Following the alerts, pilots requested explosive detection checks, leading to inspections of passengers, luggage, and aircraft. Authorities believe these incidents are part of a broader campaign affecting multiple European countries.
