Romania hosts literary events in Iași and Sibiu

Several literary events are scheduled in Romania. In Iași, the Unirii Museum will host the launch of the novel ‘Rătăcite, dar împreună’ by Loredana Grosu on October 3, 2026. The author, who lives with spastic tetraplegia, will be presented by writer Vasile Fluturel and Inge Jose Smelik. The event includes a piano recital by student Luca Udrea.

In Sibiu, the Student Culture House will host a literary meeting on October 2, 2026, focusing on the history of Romanians in Latin America. The event features the presentation of the monograph ‘De la Rio Grande până în Țara de Foc. Prezența românilor în America Latină’ by Ștefan Străjeri. This 604-page work is the result of six years of research, documenting Romanian communities from Mexico to the southern tip of South America and highlighting 93 personalities.
