Romania hosts youth-focused literature festival and upcoming educational conference

The APOLODOR Children and Adolescent Literature Festival commenced in Botoșani, featuring various workshops, readings, and author meetings across local schools, libraries, and theaters. As part of the ‘Born a Reader’ campaign, a collaboration between the festival, the Botoșani Maternity Hospital, and Editura GAMA, 2,000 books have been prepared to be gifted to newborns and their families over the next 12 months.

In Iași, the second edition of the ‘Creștem Aripi’ (Growing Wings) conference is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University. Organized by Liceul ‘Profesor Mihai Dumitriu’ Valea Lupului and the Prietenii Valea Lupului Association, the event focuses on equipping adolescents for the future. The conference aims to facilitate dialogue between specialists, parents, and teachers regarding the development of healthy relationships, digital balance, and supporting youth potential.
