Romania launches free 10‑month tutoring program to help adults pass the Bacalaureat

The non‑governmental Association “Învață pentru Tine” has introduced the “BAC pentru VIITOR” project, offering free, individualized online tutoring to adults who have not obtained their high‑school diploma. The program runs for ten months, providing two hours of weekly lessons with qualified teachers and personalized study plans, targeting individuals from vulnerable backgrounds who are already in the labour market.

In parallel, Romanian education authorities remind adult candidates that failing the Bacalaureat does not end their prospects. Candidates may retake each failed subject up to five times, with two exam sessions per year (summer and autumn). Re‑registration requires standard documentation, and the test environment remains strictly regulated. The combination of the new tutoring initiative and existing retake options aims to improve adult educational outcomes and expand employment opportunities.

The program builds on the association’s previous work with children and adolescents, expanding its reach to adult learners nationwide.
