Romania launches pilot health education program in four counties

The pilot health education program ‘Să creștem generații sănătoase’ (Growing Healthy Generations) is scheduled to run from September 16 to October 1, 2026. The initiative targets students, teachers, parents, and other adults involved in children's lives across four Romanian counties: Vaslui, Botoșani, Iași, and Suceava.

Initiated by Nutribalance, the program focuses on promoting balanced lifestyles and healthy behaviors. Key components include proper nutrition, sufficient sleep, physical activity, daily routine balance, and harmonious affective relationships. The curriculum includes training courses for educators, working meetings with school inspectors and directors, and multidisciplinary conferences for parents and teachers.
