Romania launches systematic property registration works
The National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising (ANCPI) has announced the start of systematic property registration operations across Romanian localities. Municipalities will inform land and building owners about the upcoming measurement schedule, the documents they must prepare, and how they can take part in the process. The registration involves identifying, measuring and entering properties into an integrated cadastre and land‑registry system, and the services are provided free of charge to citizens. Owners are asked to bring ownership deeds, inheritance certificates, court decisions, identity documents and other relevant paperwork so that field teams can accurately record property boundaries and details.
