Andrei Cordea near transfer to China's Yunnan Yukun

Andrei Cordea is reportedly close to leaving CFR Cluj to join the Chinese first-division side Yunnan Yukun. The winger, who is valued at approximately three million euros, has been targeted by the Chinese club, which already employs Romanian players Andrei Burcă and Alexandru Ioniță.

Reports suggest Yunnan Yukun has offered Cordea a salary of one million euros per year, with a potential transfer fee for CFR Cluj of around 550,000 euros. Răzvan Zăvăleanu, the judicial administrator for CFR Cluj, indicated that the club could receive significantly higher benefits through performance bonuses included in the contract.

Cordea was notably absent from the lineup during CFR Cluj’s recent match against Petrolul, a move believed to be a precaution to prevent injury and protect his transfer prospects. He has recorded 21 goals and 9 assists in 56 appearances for the club.
