Romania opens recruitment for police agent schools

Police inspectorates in Constanța and Neamț have launched recruitment for the September–December 2026 session for admission into Ministry of Internal Affairs post-secondary institutions.

A total of 3,640 positions are available nationwide, including specific quotas for Roma and other minorities. Candidates can apply to the ‘Vasile Lascăr’ Police Agent School in Câmpina, the ‘Septimiu Mureșan’ Police Agent School in Cluj-Napoca, and, depending on residence, the ‘Avram Iancu’ Border Police Agent Training School in Oradea.

Applications must be submitted online via email by October 4, 2026. Following registration, a complete recruitment file must be submitted by October 21. Requirements for candidates include Romanian citizenship, a minimum age of 18, a high school diploma with a baccalaureate, and a minimum grade point average of 9.00 during high school. The selection process involves psychological evaluations, physical performance tests, knowledge examinations, and medical exams.
