The Romanian Naval Forces have neutralized two separate fragments of aerial drones containing explosive payloads in the Black Sea within a 24-hour period.

The object was discovered after being reported by a commercial vessel through the Regional Maritime Coordination Center.

A similar incident occurred on Thursday, September 3, when an EOD team neutralized another explosive drone fragment floating near the Central Platform. This second object was also reported by commercial maritime traffic. The Ministry of National Defense stated that the Naval Forces maintain constant capacity to identify and neutralize objects that pose a risk to maritime navigation and activities.
