Romania power outages scheduled for Pitești and Bucharest regions

Scheduled power outages will affect various residential and commercial areas in Romania due to planned electrical network maintenance and repairs.

In Pitești, Distribuție Oltenia has announced interruptions between August 17 and August 20, 2026. The outages, occurring between 09:00 and 17:00, will impact streets such as Egalității, Unirii, and Republicii on Monday, and various sectors including Bd. Republicii and the Banat neighborhood throughout the week.

In Bucharest, Ilfov, and Giurgiu, Rețele Electrice Muntenia will conduct repairs and modernization works from August 17 to August 23, 2026. Affected areas in Bucharest include parts of Sector 1, Sector 2, and Sector 3. In Ilfov, outages are scheduled for locations including Berceni, Otopeni, Bragadiru, Balotești, and Corbeanca.
