Romania to host 14th Youth Parliament simulation

The 14th edition of the ‘Youth Parliament’ educational project is scheduled to take place from November 13–15, 2025, at the Palace of the Parliament in Romania. Organized by the Pro Democratia Association in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation – Romania and the Chamber of Deputies, the event will bring together over 100 high school and university students from across the country.

The initiative aims to provide young people with a practical experience of the legislative process, simulating how laws are initiated and voted upon through parliamentary groups and committees. The project focuses on promoting democratic values, civic education, and helping participants understand the role of Parliament within democratic institutions.

The program is open to Romanian citizens aged 17 to 25. Selection is based on a scoring system involving a CV and a proposed legislative initiative.
