Romanian art exhibitions announced for Palatul Suțu and Elite Art Gallery

Several art exhibitions are scheduled in Romania for late 2026. At Palatul Suțu, the exhibition ‘Ecouri în patrimoniul contemporan: BCR și Pinacoteca București’ will run from September 10 to November 8. The showcase features 70 works of painting, sculpture, and decorative art, resulting from a 2025 contribution by Banca Comercială Română to the Pinacoteca București. The collection creates a dialogue between historical pieces and works by 20th-century and contemporary artists, including Milița Petrașcu and Ion Jalea.

Additionally, the Elite Art Gallery will host the Balchik Art Residency #23 exhibition from August 31 to October 8, with an opening on September 2. This edition features works from eight invited artists, exploring diverse perspectives on the Balchik region through painting, drawing, analog collage, and urban art. The project continues a long-standing tradition of engaging with the artistic memory of the Balchik area.
