Romanian artist Oana Adiaconiței mourned after death, funeral held in Râmnicu Vâlcea

Oana Adiaconiței, a Romanian designer and visual artist known online as Oana Art or OnnyArt, died after a prolonged battle with an incurable lung disease. Her husband Lucian posted an emotional tribute on Facebook, sharing a photo of the family and recalling her work, including a piece created in memory of make‑up artist Anca Molnar that incorporated Molnar’s radiotherapy mask.

The funeral took place on 30 July 2026 in Râmnicu Vâlcea, where mourners gathered around candles, flowers and several of Oana’s artworks displayed as a tribute. Claudiu Molnar, husband of the late Anca Molnar, also expressed his grief, noting the poignant coincidence of the two losses.

The community and family remembered Oana for her emotive, symbolic creations and the lasting impact of her artistic contributions.
