Romanian athletes Cristian Ofrim and Billel Omrani train for future seasons

Boxer Cristian Ofrim attended an international training camp in Budapest organized by the Zrínyi Miklós Kick‑box Academy, where he completed two daily sessions and sparred under kick‑boxing rules, defeating two Hungarian opponents. He declined an offer to remain in Hungary and returned to Romania to continue his preparation at the Olympic Center in Brăila with the national boxing squad, under coach George Perțea, who praised Ofrim’s work ethic and potential.

Algerian striker Billel Omrani, 33, is currently unattached after parting ways with Concordia Chiajna. He is training with the first team of CFR Cluj, the club where he previously played from 2016 to 2022 and won several league titles. Club patron Neluțu Varga said Omrani is on a two‑week trial; a contract will be offered only if he demonstrates seriousness and performance.
