Romanian Baseball and Softball Federation promotes Baseball5 in schools

The Romanian Baseball and Softball Federation (FRBS) is working to integrate Baseball5 into school curricula and extracurricular activities. During a recent event at the ‘Sfinții Împărați’ Gymnasium in Galați, organized under the Galați County School Inspectorate, federation officials met with physical education teachers to discuss the discipline.

Baseball5 is described as an accessible, urban version of the sport that does not require bats or specialized gloves, requiring only a rubber ball and a flat surface. The format is designed to be inclusive with mixed-gender teams, focusing on agility, reaction speed, and strategic thinking.
