Romanian business programs target AI adoption and strategic growth
Several business development programs are targeting Romanian companies to enhance competitiveness and technological adoption.
The Business Forward program, implemented by Social Innovation Solutions and Raiffeisen Bank Romania, has selected 25 companies for its advanced stage. The initiative focuses on accelerating technological transformation and AI adoption among SMEs in sectors such as production, construction, and logistics. Participants will receive consultancy and mentorship, with four grants totaling 1 million lei available for the best projects.
Separately, the second edition of the COMPETITIV executive program has launched, involving 28 Romanian companies with a combined turnover of 7.4 billion euros. Developed by Asociația New Economy Hub and Raiffeisen Bank Romania, the program runs from September 2026 to February 2027. It aims to help large and medium-sized enterprises navigate economic pressures related to energy, carbon, and AI.
