Romanian clubs announce striker's European ambitions and midfielder's SuperLiga signing

Striker Assad Al‑Hamlawi, 25, finished the season with Universitatea Craiova scoring 16 goals across all competitions. Although reports claimed he had been transferred to Al Ahly in Egypt, the Palestinian forward said he prefers a move to a top European league such as Spain, Italy or France and aims to equal or exceed his goal tally next season.

Midfielder Amin Ziblim, 20, from Ghana, has been signed by CFR Cluj after a season with AFC Câmpulung Muscel, a Romanian club that recently dropped to Liga 3. The Ghanaian played in preseason friendlies in Slovenia, including a 2‑1 win over Neftchi Baku, as the SuperLiga side prepares for the new campaign.
