Romanian clubs wrap up summer friendlies with narrow 1‑0 victories

FC Bihor secured a 1‑0 win over Sănătatea Cluj in the penultimate pre‑season friendly, with a junior loaned from Universitatea Cluj scoring the decisive goal in the 84th minute. The victory marked the fourth clean‑sheet win in five preparation matches for the Oradea side as they look ahead to a final test against Minaur Baia Mare.

Concordia Chiajna also recorded a 1‑0 triumph in a summer friendly, beating Metaloglobus București thanks to a 23‑minute goal by Alexandru Jipa. The win continued Concordia's streak of three consecutive friendly victories, bringing their preparation tally to three wins from five matches. Both clubs noted minor injuries and are set to begin the upcoming Liga II season in August.
