Romanian coaches seek new posts in Greek football

Former Romania national team manager Edi Iordănescu has been approached by Greek Super League side Levadiakos with what the club described as a "very large contract". The Romanian, who most recently left Legia Warsaw, is said to be in negotiations for a head‑coach role that would see him replace the departing Nikos Papadopoulos.

Separately, Romanian coach Răzvan Lucescu announced his departure from PAOK after a two‑year spell that yielded two league titles and two Greek Cups. Lucescu said he regretted not being able to meet club owner Ivan Savvidis to thank him, adding that "the normal thing would have been to shake hands and say goodbye".
