Romanian counties Caraș-Severin and Buzău publish final Evaluarea Națională results after contestations

The Caraș‑Severin County School Inspectorate released the final 2026 Evaluarea Națională results after processing 216 contestations. The overall promotion rate rose marginally from 66.82% to 66.89%. Re‑evaluation shifted a few candidates into higher average brackets, increasing the 9.00‑9.99 range from 69 to 72 students while other bands changed slightly. The inspectorate also issued the admission timetable and a guide for high‑school enrollment.

In Buzău, the final promotion rate stayed at 74.8% after contestations, a drop of more than four percentage points from 2025’s 83.16% and 4.2 points below the national average of 79%. Of the 3,041 examinees, 216 appeals were filed; the re‑scoring produced negligible changes, keeping the Romanian language pass rate at 79.48% and mathematics at 68.31%. Most candidates earned averages between 7 and 8.99, with no perfect scores recorded.
