Romanian Diver Popovici Wins Mostar Red Bull Stage as Moldovan Freediver Dominic Sets National Record

Constantin Popovici of Romania claimed victory in the fourth stage of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series held in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, scoring 414.9 points to narrowly beat Britain’s Aidan Heslop. The win marks Popovici’s second consecutive stage triumph, though he remains third in the overall series standings.

In a separate diving discipline, Moldovan athlete Ecaterina Dominic recorded a national record of 200 metres in dynamic apnea at the recent World Championship for pool freediving, finishing 13th overall. Her performance places her among the world’s leading freedivers just two years after beginning the sport.
