Romanian educators Ștefan Asandei and Gheorghe Andronache pass away

The Romanian educational community is mourning the loss of two respected educators.

Ștefan Asandei, a chemistry professor and former director of the ‘Dimitrie Cantemir’ Agricultural High School in Huși, has passed away. He was widely recognized for his lifelong devotion to his son, who requires special care due to health issues. Following the death of his wife six years ago, Asandei had been the sole caregiver for his adult son.

Gheorghe Andronache, a former director of the Children's Palace (Palatul Copiilor), has also died. He was honored by colleagues and former students for his commitment to youth development and educational programs. The community, including staff from Gymnasium School No. 11, expressed deep regret for his passing and extended condolences to his family.
