Romanian female boxers secure multiple medals at National Championship

Romanian female boxers achieved significant success at the National Women's Boxing Championship held in Eforie Nord.

Representing ACS Pugilistic Sibian, 17-year-old Sofia Maria Filip secured a silver medal. After winning her semifinal against an opponent from CS Vâlcea, she reached the final, marking a notable performance for the Sibiu-based club.

CSM Timișoara also saw strong results, bringing home four medals. Anamaria Marcu won the gold medal in the cadet category (63 kg), while Fabiana Bondoc earned silver in the junior category (70 kg). The club's medal count was rounded out by bronze medals from Teodora Marcu in the junior category (75 kg) and Iasmina Vornicu in the youth category (57 kg).
