Romanian football clubs announce player exits and new signings

FC Petrolul Ploiești confirmed the departure of defenders Yohan Roche and Ricardinho after their contracts expired; Ricardinho signed a two‑year deal with Portuguese second‑division side Lusitania FC. The club also mutually terminated the contract of veteran forward Gicu Grozav, who left despite a contract running until 2027.

CFR Cluj completed two incoming transfers, bringing in Marian Huja from Poland’s Pogon Szczecin for €250,000 and free‑agent Israeli‑Romanian striker Yuval Sade from Maccabi Netanya. President Iuliu Mureșan announced at least three further signings are assured. The club also sold Matei Ilie and Tidiane Keita for €500,000 each to Turkish side Kasimpasa and Kazakhstani side Ordabasy, and secured a long‑term contract for 17‑year‑old academy talent Mateo Miclăuș until 2029.
