Romanian football clubs CSM Slatina and CSM Caransebeș record wins in preseason and Cup fixtures

CSM Slatina continued its preseason preparation in Bansko, Bulgaria, by beating Bulgarian second‑division side Hebar Pazardzhik 3‑1. The match saw Szilard Magyari convert a penalty in the 40th minute, Emilian Pacionel score in the 80th, and Răzvan Matiș add the final goal in the 85th as the Romanian side evaluated its squad before the new season.

In the Romanian Cup regional phase, CSM Caransebeș held Ripensia to a 0‑0 draw in regular time before prevailing 5‑4 in a penalty shoot‑out. Caransebeș’s shooters Darius Pușcă, Marian Musteța, Marius Musteța, Ioan Derbac and Tomas Dumbravă converted, while Ripensia missed with Răzvan Lungu. The victory advances Caransebeș to the Group 1 final against CSM Deva.
