Romanian football clubs post mixed preseason results and junior tournament win

CSM Slatina played a preseason friendly in Bulgaria against Slavia Sofia, losing 3-2 despite leading until the 85th minute. Goals for Slatina came from Szilard Magyari (27') and Yanis Sorescu (50'), while Slavia turned the match around in the final minutes.

ACSM Cetatea 1932 Suceava held a 2-2 draw with Gloria Bistrița in a friendly at Câmpulung Moldovenesc. Gloria opened scoring early through Mehdi; Cetatea equalised via a free‑kick by Ferhaoui (78') and later took the lead through Aftanache (86'), only for Gloria to respond three minutes later with a lob from Șofroni.

The U‑12 group (born 2012) of CSM Râmnicu Sărat captured the Kinder Cup in Mangalia, finishing the tournament with four wins, one loss and a 19‑4 goal difference. Victories included 5‑2 over CSU Craiova, 7‑0 over NFC București, 3‑0 over Viitorul Rusănești and 3‑0 over Ark Constanța, securing first place. Meanwhile, the senior team of CSM Râmnicu Sărat remains inactive after relegation from Liga III, with no public plan for the upcoming season.
