Romanian footballers linked to transfers in Israel
Romanian footballers are making moves within the Israeli league. Maccabi Tel Aviv is reportedly preparing for the arrival of Ianis Hagi. To facilitate this, the club has decided to pay the full salary of Nicolaescu during his loan period at Hapoel Ramat Gan, a move intended to free up a foreign player slot in the squad.
Hagi remains under contract with Alanyaspor until July 2027. For a transfer to Israel to occur, Maccabi Tel Aviv would either need to purchase him or reach an agreement with his current club. Meanwhile, striker Alex Pop has completed a transfer from Dinamo to Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona for 150,000 euros. Pop noted that while he is aware of the security situation in Israel, he weighed the professional opportunities and decided to proceed with the move.
