Romanian Liga 2 clubs unveil new squads and kits ahead of 2026/27 season

FC Hermannstadt has begun preparations for the 2026/27 Liga 2 campaign with a nearly complete overhaul of its playing staff. The club retained captain Ionuț Stoica and a handful of players from last season, while adding several new signings, including returning loanees and newcomers from Ghana and other Romanian clubs. The squad will be overseen by academy director Dorin Zotincă, assistant Marian Mărgărit, goalkeeper coach Ieronim Ursu and fitness trainer Cosmin Corovei.

Steaua București announced a return to Joma as its technical sponsor for the same season, replacing Adidas after five years. The new partnership includes a full range of match, training and presentation apparel, supplied locally by Dream Sport. The updated kit retains the club’s traditional red‑blue identity and references its historic European titles.
