Romania's Loto 6/49 record report exceeds €6.8 million

On 28 June 2026 the Romanian National Lottery announced that the Loto 6/49 jackpot has accumulated a record report of over 35.59 million lei (more than €6.8 million). Parallel reports were also noted for other games: Noroc (€1.32 million), Joker (€159 000), Noroc Plus (€64 000), Loto 5/40 (€12 700) and Super Noroc (€55 400). The previous Thursday draws (25 June) yielded 20,620 prize winners totalling over 2.3 million lei. New draws for Loto 6/49, Noroc, Joker, Noroc Plus, Loto 5/40 and Super Noroc are scheduled for Sunday, 28 June. The large report is expected to attract additional ticket sales, boosting the lottery’s contribution to the state budget and funding for social projects, while also raising concerns about gambling addiction and financial risk for players.
