Romanian lower‑league clubs win pre‑season friendlies ahead of 2026/27 season

CSM Reșița defeated newly promoted Nera Bogodinț 5-1 in a friendly on 24 July in Valea Domanului. Coach Dorinel Munteanu said the result convinced him of the players he will rely on for the upcoming Liga 2 campaign, noting the addition of a central defender and the need to legitimize a few squad members.

A week later, CSC Dumbrăvița secured a 3-0 victory in its final summer friendly on the CSC Ghiroda‑Giarmata Vii ground. Coach Florin Fabian highlighted the team’s intensity, organization and pressing, calling the win important for morale ahead of the club’s inaugural Liga 2 match on 1 August against FC Hermannstadt.

Both matches serve as preparation milestones for the Romanian clubs as they approach the 2026/27 season.
