Romanian model Alina Pușcău announced on Instagram that doctors have identified a tumor in her chest and five additional formations in her armpits, with the disease spreading to her bones. In a video she asked fans to pray for her as she confronts a "very serious" condition.

Pușcău said treatment will start on 7 August at the UCLA medical center in the United States. She disclosed that the expected cost of the therapies could approach half a million dollars. The model previously spoke publicly about other health issues, including high mercury levels, but this diagnosis marks a new, severe health challenge.
