Romanian National Lottery reports multi‑million euro jackpot and Loto 5/40 winner

On July 30, the Romanian National Lottery (Loteria Română) awarded 23,429 prizes worth roughly 3 million lei. A ticket purchased in Galaţi matched all six numbers in the Loto 5/40 draw and secured the Category I prize of 988,285.60 lei (about €172,300).

The next draw scheduled for August 2 will feature Loto 6/49 with a roll‑over of approximately 47.5 million lei (around €9.05 million), alongside other games such as Noroc, Joker, Noroc Plus and Super Noroc, each carrying their own multi‑million‑lei roll‑overs.
