Romanian Orthodox Clergy Celebrate All Saints' Day at Cerebuc Monastery and in Sibiu

On Sunday, 14 June, the Romanian Orthodox Church marked the Feast of All Saints with services in several locations. At Cerebuc Monastery, Archimandrite Father Teofan delivered a sermon on the Christian work of forgiveness, stating, “Omul care iartă are certitudinea că va fi iertat” (the one who forgives is certain of being forgiven). The liturgy also featured the priestly blessing of Father Ioan Șișmanian.

In Sibiu, Priest Constantin Necula addressed the faithful, urging believers to be “lumina lumii” (the light of the world). He warned against secular excesses that cloud the Church’s mission and emphasized the Orthodox tradition as a space for repentance and divine partnership.

Both events attracted pilgrims and local worshippers who gathered to pray and reflect on the spiritual themes of forgiveness and moral responsibility during the national holiday dedicated to all Romanian saints.
