Patients and their families in Romania have expressed public gratitude toward medical staff at regional hospitals, countering common criticisms of the healthcare system.

In Botoșani, Marcela Ciocan shared her positive experience following treatment at the Mavromati Emergency County Hospital. After being treated in the Surgery Department, she praised the professionalism and empathy of the staff, specifically highlighting Dr. Bîșca. She noted that despite public perceptions regarding the need for unofficial payments for proper care, she received high-quality treatment without providing any such incentives.

Similarly, in Târgu Jiu, Lidia Artaris issued a message of thanks to the personnel at the Târgu Jiu Emergency County Hospital. She expressed deep appreciation for the care provided to her grandmother in both the Emergency Unit and the Gastroenterology Department. Artaris specifically thanked Dr. Racă, Dr. Soare, Dr. Huzu, Dr. Gheorghițoiu, and head nurse Stoicoiu for their dedication and humanity during difficult moments.
