Romanian police launch youth safety programs in Dâmbovița and Brașov
Police officers from the Dâmbovița County Police conducted interactive safety sessions for participants of two youth camps in Padina and Voinești. The activities covered online fraud, road safety, domestic‑violence prevention, and included a demonstration of goggles that simulate the effects of alcohol and drugs. At the Manga Park of Voinești, children from the Happy Free Kids camp received education on online safety, bullying prevention and criminal responsibility through games and practical examples.
In Brașov, the county police organized an awareness campaign at Coresi Shopping Resort aimed at parents. The campaign advised families on how to protect children online, emphasized open dialogue, warned against cyber‑bullying, and recommended the use of parental‑control applications to monitor and restrict digital content.
Both initiatives are part of a broader effort by Romanian police forces to promote responsible behaviour and safer online and offline environments for minors.
