Romanian police seize €70,000 motorhome sought by Spanish authorities in Reșița
On 25 July 2026, the Caraș‑Severin County Police in Romania recovered a motorhome valued at about €70,000 in the Şură area of Reșița. The vehicle had been rented in Spain on 12 July 2026 using a falsified identity by a 29‑year‑old man from Reșița and was brought into Romania without being returned.
Investigators found counterfeit licence plates on the motorhome that were linked to another vehicle. The police seized and immobilised the motorhome and are working with Spanish authorities and a local prosecutor to pursue illegal‑possession charges and arrange its return to the Spanish owners.
